It is essential to consult a doctor since the initial stage when hypertension starts to manifest, as this would save the individual from much trouble in the future, and complications in case the female is pregnant. Such complications include excessive bleeding and difficulty during labor, causing a lot more pain than normal conditions. In some extreme cases, it might affect the baby, too, or birth abnormalities may occur.

Exercise, walking regularly, practicing aerobics and reducing salt intake are usually helpful ways of fighting with hypertension.
