You can take care of the batteries easily. It is important to get in a routine for keeping your batteries maintained. It won’t take a lot of effort.
The first thing to watch for is the battery’s charge. You want to charge your battery every time you see it in action. When you charge the battery every time it is used, that guarantees that you will have power when you need it the next time.
Don’t wait until your battery is dead to recharge it. You want to charge your battery well before it will be depleted. Use the charger that the battery came with. Don’t try to use a charger meant for a different model, as this can cause issues as well.
Store your batteries in a good temperate environment. You don’t want to keep it stored in extreme weather. Have it be in a moderate temperature where it is not too hot or too cold.
You also need to be sure your scooter’s battery is kept clean. You don’t want it to be built up with dust and debris. Use a clean, damp cloth to clean it up.
Avoid getting a battery wet. Don’t ride your scooter during rain or other wet weather conditions. When it is rainy or wet, wipe down your batteries and let them dry before using it again. Don’t ever try charging your battery when it is wet. Charging a wet battery can cause terrible damage that can be irreversible.
